C-Notch Kits

Shop C-Notch Kits for Lowered Trucks

C-notch kits create additional clearance between the rear axle and frame on lowered trucks, especially deeper rear drops and axle flip-kit setups. Use the vehicle selector, then check each product's year range, cab/bed notes, frame style, install type and cutting or welding requirements before ordering.

Before You Order

  • Confirm the drop amount and rear suspension setup.
  • Check whether the kit is bolt-on, weld-in or underbed.
  • Match the kit to cab, bed, frame and year range.
  • Check related shock, U-bolt and flip-kit requirements.

C-Notch Kit FAQ

When does a lowered truck need a C-notch?
A C-notch is commonly used on deeper rear drops and axle flip-kit setups where the axle needs more frame clearance during suspension travel. A good rule of thumb is 6" or lower, but this amount does change depending on the application you are installing on.
Do C-notch kits require welding?
Not all do. Trekline offers a full line of Bolt-on C-notches. All come with Grade 8 heavy duty hardware! While additional welds can be adding on our Bolt-on kits, they are not needed!
