    Product Description

    Description:

    This 4"/6" drop kit from Trekline Motorsports fits the 1988–1998 Chevy/GMC C1500 V8. Up front, no-track-width drop spindles and lowering coils combine for the 4" front drop. Out back, a flip kit relocates the rear axle above the leaf springs for the 6" rear drop. A rear C-notch is included to clear the axle at full drop. These are no-track-width drop spindles, so the front wheels stay at the factory track width — no added poke or fender-clearance change.

    V8 models only — WILL NOT fit V6 or 454 SS models. Shorter front and rear shocks are required and not included. Spindles exclude 1988–1991 Standard Cab. These drop spindles do NOT change the front track width — 17" or larger rims required (15"/16" wi

    Fitment Notes:

  • Does NOT fit 454 SS models, 1988–1991 Standard Cab models (w/ 1" thick rotors).
  • Fits V8 engines only. If you have a V6, please check our other listings.
  • Requires 1.25" thick front brake rotors. Does NOT fit models with 1" thick rotors. See our other listings if you have the 1" thick rotors.
  • Shorter shocks are recommended for this drop. See our other listings for the kit with shocks included.
  • These drop spindles do NOT change the front track width.
  • 15" and 16" rims will NOT work!! 17" or larger rims required! (See note below!)
  • Trimming on the lower control arm may be required depending on backspace / offset! 18" with max of 4.5" backspace will clear without trimming the lower arm!
  • Includes brackets for running the OEM calipers or can run certain Big Brakes easily without the bracket!
