Lowering Kits

Shop Truck Lowering Kits by Vehicle

Lowering kits help set the stance of a truck or SUV by matching the front and rear drop parts for a specific vehicle. Depending on the application, a kit may include drop spindles, coils, control arms, shackles, hangers, flip-kit parts, shocks, shock extenders, C-notch parts or hardware.

Use the year, make, model, drivetrain, cab and engine details in each product title and fitment note before ordering. The category is organized to help shoppers compare complete lowering kits, drop kits and common front/rear drop amounts such as 3/5, 4/6 and 4/8.

Trekline Motorsports offers a full line of lowering kits for Chevy, GMC, Dodge, Ford, Cadillac, Toyota, and Mazda vehicles. Every kit ships from Tennessee within one business day. Manufacturer-direct pricing means no dealer markup — just quality lowering components at the best price. Choose your vehicle make below to get started.

Fitment and Buying Notes

  • Match the front and rear drop amount first. In a 4/6 drop, the first number is the front drop and the second number is the rear drop.
  • Confirm whether the kit is built for 2WD or 4WD. Parts that fit a 2WD truck may not fit a 4WD truck.
  • Check whether shocks, shock extenders or a C-notch are included. Deeper rear drops are more likely to need additional axle-to-frame clearance.
  • If the product title lists V6, V8, regular cab, extended cab or standard cab, treat that detail as a fitment requirement.

Lowering Kits FAQ

What is the difference between a lowering kit and a drop kit?
Customers use both terms. On Trekline, these pages focus on complete vehicle-specific lowering kits and drop kits rather than single lowering parts.
Should I start with a vehicle category or a drop amount?
Start with the vehicle category, then compare drop amount and included parts. Vehicle fitment should come before stance preference.
Do all lowering kits ride the same?
No. Ride and install details depend on the vehicle, drop amount, front parts, rear parts and whether matched shocks or shock extenders are included.
